" How to make felted soap"

Felted Soap

what is felted soap?

Felted Soap is soap completely enclosed by felted wool. The wool is hand felted around the soap in a wet felting process.

how to felt soap?

Take wool roving, (that is wool that has been washed, carded, and dyed), and wrap it around the soap in different directions, until the soap is completely covered. Then wet  with hot (really warm) water and work it by hand until the wool has felted.

how to use?

hold under running water until wet and rub with hands. The lather will start after a few seconds. When done, rinse the soap under the water, squeeze out and put back on sink. 

why felt soap?

Felted soap is a natural alternative to those plastic loopy spongy things made from petroleum products, that are imported.

The felt is like a natural wash cloth. It exfoliates and produces a most delicious lather. The soap lasts a lot longer because the wool stops it from melting down the drain. No more soap scum on the bathroom sink.

And it looks pretty!
